EMERGENCY! IT’S 9-9-9 PLEASE HELP US STOP HS2
JOIN US ON OUR NATIONAL ACTION DAY
Join us from 9am on 9th September 2021 at various locations all the way along the proposed HS2 route of destruction for events, actions and gatherings to help #StopHS2.
The day of action will be a great introduction to the campaign and an opportunity to witness the irreparable harm being caused. Please bring community cheer, common sense, refreshments, banners, flags and statements for the press and media.
LOCATION DETAILS
9.15am Meet at the football pitches carpark (HP17 8QQ) or join us along the Oxford Road from 9.30am. Between Coldharbour Roundabout and The Bugle Horn.
This is a peaceful, family friendly protest; please bring banners.
9.00am Meet at Wendover Active Resistance (W.A.R.)
London Road A413, Wendover HP22 6PN
Bring “Water is Life” banners and placards and blue ribbons to tie to HS2 fence on A413 London Rd opposite W.A.R. All welcome.
Meet 9am at either The Stag, Offchurch CV33 9AQ or Hilltop Farm Shop, Fosseway CV33 9EL. At 10am we will walk to the Long Itchington junction on the Fosse

Meet 9am at Kenilworth Clock Tower CV8 1QJ. At 10am we will walk to Bailey Bridge on the Coventry Road.

5pm Rally at Euston Station / St Pancras New Church south garden to Euston Station forecourt.
Start from St Pancras church portico at 5pm Thursday. March with the drumming band, Nelly the white elephant (recently released by
the Met police!), and Boris the Bank Engine across Euston Rd, and around Euston Square Gardens to Euston Station Piazza.
At Euston Station we will hear from Lord Berkeley (House of Lords business allowing), and climate activist Rollie Diggaholey, who occupied the Euston Tunnel underneath Euston Square Gardens to prevent eviction.
There will be more music and dancing until around 6:30pm.

Meet 8am at Middlewich, CW10 0LW to join our friends from Stop HS2 North.
MIDDLEWICH AND/OR NORTHWICH
Join Stop HS2 North in the afternoon for outreach in the town centre.
Please join Sarah Green at The Old Orchard pub, Black jacks lane, off Park lane, Harefield, Middx, from 8.30am.
The focus will be on HS2’s impact on the water supply for 3million Londoners.
There will be two protests happening – one in North Staffordshire and one in South Staffordshire (near Lichfield).

Meet 9am at the junction of Werner Terrace and Brackley Lane (opposite the ‘top’ entrance to Calvert Jubilee Nature Reserve) MK18 2HQ.
Bring along a chair, picnic, placards, children, pets and righteous indignation.
